Operations Executive – General Insurance (Non-motor), Abu Dhabi

The primary functions of this position are to provide quality service to clients, for quote to issuance process for medical insurance and non-motor inquiries. The Operations Executive will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and designated accounts while supporting the Team by responding to queries, follow up’s internally and externally and record keeping.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Receive new business requests from direct clients/consultants – analyse, suggest and obtain adequate quotes through all channels.
  2. Ensure quote to issuance process is within agreed SLA, maintain tracker for missed SLA’s.
  3. Endorsement activity – end to end
  4. Utilize workflows and processes to initiate and maintain contact with clients as well as to update coverages, review exposures, and discuss opportunities for account management.
  5. Accurate record keeping, case management – as per business process requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in medical/commercial lines – UAE commercial insurance underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis for minimum 2 years.
  2. In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this knowledge clearly to clients and underwriters.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills In English, Arabic is an advantage.
  4. Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload & support the team.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
