The Key Account Officer (KAO) acts as the assistant for KAM on administration tasks and implementation. The role involves managing the implementation policy and maintaining the related tracker to ensure a timely policy activation.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
• Assist the client on the implementation and the tracker.
• Act as a liaison between clients and insurers to ensure implementation promptly.
• Handle administration tasks for the KAM
Policy Administration:
• Respond to email inquiries within 24-36 hours, acknowledging receipt and coordinating with KAM .
• Ensure timely implementation of new business orders
• Check policy documents and ensure accuracy before releasing them to clients.
• Handle administration tasks for the KAM
Renewal Process:
• Prepare the comparison sheets as instructed by the KAM
• Prepare alternative quotations from quotation tool when applicable and submit comparisons to KAM.
• Implement renewal orders ensuring timely delivery of all documents to clients.
External Communication:
• Insurers: Coordinate with all insurers on the Nexus panel via Broker Relations Managers or directly with admin teams.
• Clients: Serve as the point of contact for implementation assistance and complete tasks during the absence of the KAM.
